Beavers Win Their First-Ever Pac-12 Tournament Title

Oregon State won their first ever Pac-12 Tournament title after downing Colorado 70-68 on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

The win punched OSU’s ticket to the NCAA Tournament which begins on March 18.

Maurice Calloo scored 15 points in the win, while Jarod Lucas added 14 for the Beavers. OSU sank nine three-pointers and were 68% in free throw attempts.

In the Pac-12 Preseason Media Poll, Oregon State was picked to finish dead last in the conference. The ended their regular season 6th in the conference and entered the Pac-12 Tournament as a No. 5 seed. In the regular season, Colorado won both of the head-to-head matchups.

The Beavers advanced to Saturday’s title game after their 75-64 win over regular-season Pac 12 champs and the tournament’s top-seed, Oregon, on Friday night.

This year's trip to the NCAA Tournament will be the Beavers' first since 2016 when they were knocked out in the first round. The tournament bracket will be determined on Selection Sunday,  March 14.
