Oregon and Oregon State sports fans have a lot to cheer for this week.

Both of Oregon State’s women’s and men’s teams are moving on in the NCAA Tournaments after big wins on Sunday. The No. 12 Beavers’ men’s team notched another upset victory, beating No. 2 Oklahoma State 80-70. OSU heads to next weekend’s Sweet 16 for the first time since 1983.

The No. 8 Beavers women moved on to round two after defeating No. 9 Florida State, 83-59 and will face No. 1 seed South Carolina in the second round Tuesday.

The seventh-seeded Oregon men’s team had their first-round match canceled when their opponent, VCU, had several players test positive for COVID-19. The Ducks men upset No. 2 Iowa, 95-80, Monday morning in Indianapolis, putting them in the Sweet 16.

The No. 6 Oregon Women’s team make their 2021 NCAA tournament debut, facing No. 11 South Dakota Monday night at 7:00.
