The Emeralds defeated the Vancouver Canadians by a final score of 8-4 Wednesday night. Eugene has now won five games in a row and is currently 5-3 during their 12 game homestand.
The Ems jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. On the first pitch to Eugene, Bo Davidson smashed it out to left center field. The 420-footer was Davidson’s team leading sixth home run of the season.
Eugene pitcher Josh Bostick picked up his first win on the mound in Wednesday night's game after he threw 5 strong innings on the mound.
Eugene will be back for another game against the Canadians Thursday night. First pitch is set for 6:35pm with Cesar Perdomo on the mound.
The Emeralds are now 3 games out of a playoff spot.
