Oregon’s UNESCO biosphere is thriving, despite federal cuts

Cascade Head — Oregon’s only UNESCO biosphere reserve — celebrated its 50th anniversary on July 18. The milestone came as more than a dozen other biospheres in the country have folded, following cuts by the Trump administration.
