Canadian-American comedian Mort Sahl passed away this week at the age of 94. Seeing the height of his career in the 50 and 60s, Sahl was known for riffing on politics in a casual, and amusing way. He’s credited as being the precursor to fellow stand up comedians Lenny Bruce and George Carlin and many others.
Sahl’s passing reminded us at KLCC of an interview he did with former KLCC host Claude Offenbacher in the fall of 2004. Sahl was in Eugene for a performance at the Hult Center.
