The concert features works by Niccolò Paganini and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco that highlight the guitar’s dynamic role alongside strings. Paganini’s Sonata Concertata showcases an equal partnership between guitar and violin, while Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Quintet for Guitar and Strings draws on vibrant Spanish influences, complete with lyrical melodies and rhythmic flair. The program also features Rebecca Clarke’s expressive Two Pieces for Viola and Cello, known for their rich textures and tonal beauty.
