Cider Pressing at Thompson's Mills
Cider Pressing fun for the family at Thompson's Mills State Heritage Site on October 12 and 26, 11AM until 2 PM (if we don't run out of apples). The park is open dawn to dusk, so bring a picnic, tour the last water powered mill in Oregon and help make the best cider you've ever tasted. Free samples, half gallon jugs by donation. Rebecca Martin hosts a story time for kids at 10:30. The mill is at 32655 Boston Mill Road two miles east of Shedd.
