Come celebrate the coming of the spring season for a concert with iconic tunes made famous by Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordan and Louis Prima – swing jazz at its best!

This will be a special Sunday matinee Easter event at Broadway House at 3:00pm on April 5th. Admission is $25 (cash preferred) with a $15 student admission.

The audience is encouraged to bring a food or beverage item for the pot luck gathering with the musicians after the show. For those of you new of our house concert series, our events take place at 911 West Broadway, the corner house at Broadway & Adams.

The Dmitri Matheny Quintet returns after a sold-out Broadway House concert last year (Jazz From the Silver Screen). Band members include: Dmitri Matheny on flugelhorn, Adam Harris on tenor sax, Joe Bagg on keyboard, Eric Gruber on bass, and Michael Raynor on drums. For this upcoming concert, they will perform such iconic tunes as Blue Moon, Basin Street Blues, What a Wonderful World, Mack the Knife, Sweet Lorraine, Let the Good Times Roll, and much more.
