Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream gets a Folk Rock update with MIDSUMMER, A MUSICAL! A cast of terrific local actors, Eugene and Springfield based, are the heart of this contemporary take on the Bard’s classic. Does Mia love Dani or Zander? Will Ella find her way back to Dani? Can Thea and Polly patch things up? If this sounds crazy, don’t worry, it is. Puck and the King and Queen of the Fairies, Oberon and Titania, will set things aright. With help of Nick Bottom and his band of musicians, that is. Written and directed by Scott FM, With musical influences ranging from James Taylor to The Indigo Girls, MIDSUMMER, A MUSICAL, will be the event of the summer.
