Story Studio: A Teen Writing Camp

Story Studio: A Teen Writing Camp

A choose-your-own creative writing adventure for teens

🗺️✍️🌟 Welcome to a summer writing camp where your imagination leads the way!

At Story Studio camp, teen writers explore the vast world of storytelling—one prompt, one idea, one adventure at a time. Whether you’re dreaming up magical realms, historical dramas, swoony romances, or stories pulled from real life, this is the camp where it all comes to life on the page.

With the always-encouraging Sarina Dorie as your guide, you’ll get daily prompts to spark your creativity—but where your story goes? That’s entirely up to you.

Write something brand new each day, or stick with one piece and take it all the way to “The End.” This camp gives you the space and support to follow your inspiration, revise and polish your work, and share it (if you want to) with a cheering squad on Friday.

Who’s this camp for?
Teen writers (ages 13-18) who want to explore storytelling in all kinds of flavors—sci-fi, fantasy, historical, contemporary, romance, memoir, mystery—you name it.

You don’t need experience—just curiosity and a love for stories.

What you’ll do
Each day brings a new adventure:
🌀 Prompts to spark your imagination
🎭 Craft nuggets on creating characters, settings, and plot
✍️ Time to write on your own (or keep going on something in progress)
🛠 Tips and support for revising and editing your work
🎉 A final celebration where you can share your story (totally optional, but awesome)

Sarina’s style is warm, playful, and empowering—just like the stories you’ll create.

You’ll leave camp with:
📝 Pages of your own writing—maybe even a finished story
💬 New ways to describe, imagine, and express what’s in your head
🎯 Tools for revising and polishing your work
🧠 A better sense of what kind of writer you are
🧃 A full creative tank—and some new writer friends, too
