The Cascadia Chamber Opera Presents Trouble in Tahiti
Leonard Bernstein’s incisive one-act opera centers on Sam and Dinah, a seemingly typical suburban couple whose marriage strains under miscommunication, unfulfilled expectations, and the pressures of the American Dream. Both satirical and deeply human, Trouble in Tahiti remains strikingly relevant.
Directed by Karen Esquivel and conducted by Gustavo Castro, the production stars Grace Skinner as Dinah and Zachary Martin as Sam, with additional performances by Zachary Fitzgerald, Siera Kaup, Bernie Robe, Anmaree Lilley, and Therrin Baker.
