The Jazz Station welcomes back The Muddy Souls with a concert of progressive bluegrass music as part of our First Thursday Acoustic Americana series.

The Muddy Souls are a leading progressive bluegrass/jamgrass band based in Eugene. Their classic string band sound (guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass) is augmented by contemporary songwriting, tight vocal harmonies, and a high-octane groove that always has the dance floor bouncing. Formed in 2018, the band has played over 300 shows across the Pacific Northwest, northern California, and the northeast, including sets at Freshgrass, Oregon Country Fair, and Wintergrass. They have four albums of original music.
