The mother of a missing 18-year-old Eugene man is asking for help, on top of what police are able to provide.
Isla Dane says Theodore Kudrna been missing since June 1st. She dropped Kudrna off at 1:00pm near Skinner Butte Park, to be with a girl he’d met through social media and some of her friends.
“Kids that were with him have been saying that they were drinking and he was drunk and fell in the river and was incoherent," Dane tells KLCC.
"They said that they pulled him from the water and left him on the river bank, on his side. Called CAHOOTS and left. And when CAHOOTS went out there, they didn’t find anybody.”
Dane says she doesn’t believe her son had reason to run away. He was training to be a firefighter, was good about checking in with her, and was likable.

Kudrna is a 5-foot-10 white male, weighing 200 pounds, with wavy brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a faded blue t-shirt, pants, and black Nike tennis shoes.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to help pay for search efforts. Tips can be called in to 541-649-2001 or emailed to bringtheodorehome@gmail.com
