Oregon State Police say reports of shot vehicles covers a three-county area, which roughly stretches from Ashland to just north of Canyonville.

Since July 14th, authorities have learned of several vehicles shot in Douglas, Josephine, and Jackson Counties. No injuries have been reported, but the threat to safety has police concerned.

If motorists believe their vehicle’s been hit by gunfire on I-5, they’re asked to continue out of the area and call 911. The time and location should be noted as accurately as possible.

Information about the shootings should be shared with the Oregon State Police as well.

Tips can be sent to: Oregon State Police Southern Command Center at 1-800-442-2068 or * OSP- Reference OSP Case #SP20-173444.
