The Lane County Fair was interrupted by gunshots Saturday in Eugene. Police say they got a 911 call at around 4 p.m. of shots fired at the fair.
Two people were taken into custody. One person was shot in the arm, police say. They were taken to a local hospital. The fair resumed, though police roped off the crime scene area and asked the public to avoid that location.
Lane County said the Lane Events Center was working closely with police to ensure everyone’s safety at the fair.
