Lane County has restricted access to Mount Pisgah because of fire danger.
The closure is effective Saturday morning until further notice. Only the trails by the river will be open to the public at Howard Buford Recreation Area.
Lane County Parks is also forbidding open flames, including campfires except in campfire rings in designated overnight campsites in all parks. Tobacco use is already prohibited in Lane County Parks.
