Lane Community College employees, students, and staff will return to a fully vaccinated campus this fall. Board members voted unanimously to require COVID-19 vaccines Wednesday.

President Margaret Hamilton, praised the decision. It makes LCC the first community college in Oregon to become a fully vaccinated institution with requirements for campus activities and instruction.
“Absolutely thank you to all of this board for making a very courageous, brave and absolutely on point decision and being the first of the community colleges so I’m just I wouldn’t be more proud as a nurse and as a president, so thank you,” Hamilton said.
?Individuals can opt for medical, religious and personal exemptions consistent with state law. How the college will document vaccinations and exemptions is still in development.
