All but one of the UO's positive cases are students living off-campus. The on-campus student lives in a residence hall, and has been isolated according to the UO.

There have been 348 cases reported by the UO since June 1, and 197 of those cases have occured during the month of Oct. All cases from the university are included in Lane County Public Health's reporting.

Currently, 13 individuals are hospitalized in the county and 229 people are considered infectious, according to LCPH. There have been 18,846 total cases this year, and 22 related deaths.

Both Lane County and the UO remain on high alert for COVID-19.
