KLCC Bids Fond Farewell To Gayle Chisholm

KLCC's Marketing Director and Webmaster Gayle Chisholm retires after 33 years of service.

Gayle started with KLCC as Marketing Director in 1986. Early on, she was responsible for the transition to desktop computers. Gayle always wore a combination of hats during her tenure at KLCC, proving invaluable as technology evolved. Gayle brought the newsroom into the digital age. She put KLCC on the internet and re-built several versions of the website. She made it possible for donors to securely contribute to KLCC on line.

One of Gayle's last projects was beautifying the SELCO Performance Hall at KLCC.

Gayle has been station archivist, promotions queen, go-to person for anything web-related and of course, the grand organizer of the KLCC Brewfest for 18 successful years! Needless to say, she leaves big shoes to fill.

We suspect Gayle will remain in constant (yet organized) motion—visiting children and grandchildren and keeping up on the next big thing.

The staff and volunteers of KLCC wish Gayle Chisholm all the best in her well-deserved retirement.

Kris Lindstrom Fox has been with KLCC since 1981, becoming Membership Director in 1987. She has overseen the growth of KLCC membership to more than 6,000 members, and taken Radiothon from $18,000 in 1981 to $285,000 in 2013. She is also co-coordinator of the KLCC Microbrew Festival, held in Eugene every February.
Tiffany joined the KLCC News team in 2007. She studied journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and has worked in a variety of media including television and daily print news.
