On Tuesday, Springfield Police responded to a crash that occurred at the intersection of S. 35th Street and Oregon Avenue
The crash involved a Volkswagen SUV that struck a Toyota SUV, which caused the Toyota to roll over and land on top of four pedestrians on the sidewalk.
Three of the four pedestrians were transported to the hospital with some serious injuries, but none that were life-threatening. The drivers of the vehicles are cooperating with authorities.
The Springfield Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the crash.
