Eugene Police say they arrested a 63-year-old man for rape early Friday morning after a report of a sexual assault.
The assault happened in Skinner Butte Park near the river path, police say.
Kevin Lee Hecht was arrested on multiple charges including rape and strangulation. He was placed in the Lane County Jail.
