Things are hopping in Kesey Square these days. Even in the chilly weather, folks are sipping tea, nibbling pizza, sampling beer, and checking out the new shops in places that used to be empty. But recent reports allege that some of the activities in the heart of downtown slip well past the boundary of "eccentric" and into the "yikes!" zone. Accepting that the normal range of behavior in the heart of a city causes some people to cringe, we still notice that the oddly iconic statue of Kesey is often the center of behavior that most believe is unacceptable.
To get things started, the speakers will present four perspectives on the issue to provide food for thought. In the second part of the program, in addition to the customary Q&As, we invite members and guests to summarize -- very briefly! -- their own observations and suggested remedies.
