About 200 supporters for presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders are celebrating at Cozmic Pizza in Eugene Tuesday night. As results trickled in for Oregon’s Primary, an enthusiastic crowd reacted to live updates their candidate was defeating Hilary Clinton.
Bernie crowd: “……..Bernie…. Bernie…. Bernie.”
Millennials at the rally were enthusiastic about tonight’s numbers, and some will be voting in November for the first time.
Results are preliminary, but the Vermont Democrat defeated Hilary Clinton in Oregon. Republican Donald Trump won the GOP nomination.
