Corvallis and Albany Re-Open Offices To Public

Corvallis City Club

The cities of Corvallis and Albany re-opened many of their offices to the public Monday for the first time since late March.

Visitors in both cities will have to schedule an appointment in advance and wear a face covering. Both cities say a limited number of masks will be available for visitors who don't have their own.

The City of Albany also says that visitors will have to pass a health screening, including a temperature check, in order to gain access.

Most routine city business can be conducted online or over the phone.

Larger public facilities remain closed in both Corvallis and Albany, including libraries, pools and community center. The closures are part of the ongoing effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
