From The City Club of Eugene:

Mayor Lucy Vinis will update the community on a few of the critical issues facing Eugene. KLCC’s News Director Rachael McDonald will lead the discussion, with a focus on four questions:

  • What is the City doing about the issue of homelessness?

  • What are the City’s plans for reforming public safety?

  • What programs are on the schedule for summer in the City?

  • What question would you like to answer?

Ample time will be allowed for questions from the audience. Those interested in attending should register on the City Club website to receive a zoom invitation to the program.
Rachael McDonald is the News Director for KLCC (Oregon NPR affiliate) and has worked at the station for ten years. She also served as Interim Program Director in 2018-2019. She has received numerous awards for her reporting. Ms. McDonald earned a BA in English from University of Oregon.
