Property owners now have access to the initial structural damage assessments for structures within the Holiday Farm Fire perimeter.

Lane County, Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office and other public safety partners began the assessments on September 13 and completed them on Monday.

They identified 431 residences and 24 non-residential structures as being destroyed by the fire.

Residents can now access the database at www.lanecounty.org/mckenziefire. The database includes a designation of property status and photos of the property.

Officials advise property owners to download and save the photos for their records, including sharing the photos and damage assessment information with insurers.

Lane County’s non-emergency call center for the Holiday Farm Fire is available to assist residents with accessing the database and information about their properties. The call center is available at 541-682-3977 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Property owners are reminded that fire-damaged structures can be extremely hazardous and residents are encouraged to have professionals assess and deal with damaged property. Serious hazards can include unstable and falling debris, toxic substance exposure including asbestos and eye/lung/skin impact from ash and other irritants.
