Ducks Take 16-Game Winning Streak and Conference Title to Pac-12 Tournament

Oregon Athletics

The top-seeded Oregon Women’s Basketball team is set to face No. 8 Utah on Friday in the Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas. The Ducks are coming off victories at home last weekend where they won the regular season championship for a third year in a row.

In 2019 the Ducks lost to Stanford in the final game of the Pac-12 tournament. Oregon Coach Kelly Graves says this year is different.  “We’re playing well. We’re healthy, we’re happy, we’re hungry still. I look at where we were at this point last year just limping on, limping home so to speak. I have an entirely different perspective and feeling about this group” he said.

Earlier this week Graves was named the Pac-12 Coach of the Year, his second straight, while Sabrina Ionescu was voted the Player of the Year for a third consecutive year. Taylor Chavez was named the Sixth player of the Year.

The Ducks are on a 16-game winning streak. Friday’s  game is at 2:00.
