Kotek ordered a pause to the state’s automatic voter registration program in October after concerning errors were brought to light.

After hundreds of people who were not eligible to vote were automatically registered, Gov. Tina Kotek has called on the DMV to pause the process of automatically registering drivers to vote through the state’s motor-voter law.
