ARRL Amateur Radio Field Day

Lincoln County Amateur Radio Club is locally hosting the American Radio Relay League Field Day event at Oregon Coast Community College, 400 SE College Way, Newport, OR, 97366.

This is a 2 day annual event, in which amateur radio operators set up portable stations using emergency power to contact other hams in a nationwide contest.

The public is invited to participate to get on the air and explore the latest communication technology.

On 22 MAY, 2025, Oregon Governor, Tina Kotek, proclaimed June as Amateur Radio Month. She recognized ham operators for freely providing communications in times of disaster, and their sponsoring of the annual ARRL NW convention, SEAPAC, at Seaside, OR and Field Day.
