Nobel Peace Park Community Festival

The Nobel Peace Laureate Project's Board of Directors, wants to invite the community to their annual "Nobel Peace Park Community Festival" taking place on Saturday, September 30th from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the Nobel Peace Park (within Alton Baker park) The Nobel Peace Park is the ONLY historical monument in the United States that recognizes the American Award winners of the Nobel Peace Prize!

Enjoy Eugene’s beautiful Nobel Peace Park, relax to local musicians, enjoy some food, a few words of wisdom from Eugene Mayor Lucy Vinis and be entertained by the Folklorico dancers from Raices de Oregon in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month. (Note: Marcus Nobel will be unable to attend as planned due to a family matter.)

Come learn from some of the multicultural & nonprofit organizations improving our community through their humanitarian work.

Some representatives of the American Nobel Laureate winners will be present at the event ( Linus Pauling Institute, YMCA, American Friends Service Committee... and more)
