Our Annual Yachats Mushroom Festival is October 18-20th. Friday night kicks off with our keynote speaker with Christian Schwarz on 'Data is Not the Destination: Community Science and the Future of Fungi'. 6-9pm, tickets are on sale now on our website yachatsmushroomfestival.org. Saturday and Sunday are filled with lectures and guided walks, mushroom workshops, and an All Things Mushroom Vendor Fair. In the pavilion outside of the Commons, LCMS sets up a fantastic display of mushrooms for identification and education. There will be an information booth in the Pavilion for questions and for signing up for talks, workshops and guided walks. Tickets are available on our website, as well as in person day of event.
