Arcimoto and 5th Street Public Market are celebrating Earth Day this weekend with an event to let people test drive the three-wheel, electric Fun Utility Vehicles or FUVs.
Arcimoto Director of Communications Jonathan Miller says the FUV is the company’s way of creating a more affordable alternative to fight climate change.
“We’re driving these really expensive, oversized rigs just to go five miles by yourself to work,” said Miller. “We have an affordable option that checks off all those boxes. It does all the things you need it to do for everyday driving.”
Arcimoto staff will be on hand to answer questions and take people on test drives up Skinner’s Butte. The event runs through Sunday, April 25 at the new 5th Street Market Alley.
