In an effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus, the Eugene 4J School District will hold its Wednesday board meeting virtually. The meeting will be broadcasted live on KRVM and online streaming.
The sole agenda item will focus on hiring an interim superintendent for next school year. After five years, Superintendent Gustavo Balderas will leave 4J in June.
Community members can provide input on desired characteristics and qualifications for the interim superintendent online. This survey is available until 12 pm on Wednesday.
Public comment can be submitted by emailing board@4j.lane.edu, with the subject line clearly labeled ‘Public Comment.’
The board meeting will begin remotely on Wednesday at 6 pm.
