Forecasters say we might see snow in Oregon’s Cascade Mountains this weekend. The National Weather Service in Portland said on social media that Saturday will be a “perfect pumpkin patch day.” But rain and chilly weather will come to the region Saturday night and into Sunday.
Snow levels are expected to go from 8,000 feet Sunday morning to 4,000 feet in the afternoon. The Weather Service says there could be 2 to 5 inches in the mountains. Travelers should be prepared for snow over the passes.
