New COVID-19 Vax Scheduling Process Begins In Lane Co.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention

Lane County Public Health is making it easier to get a COVID-19 vaccine. They are doing away with the pre-registration process and now encourage all eligible residents to get online and schedule a time and place to receive the shot.

The website is lanecounty.org/vaxclinics

You can get there by clicking here.

On March 22, vaccine eligibility was expanded statewide to include those in 1B Group 6. This includes pregnant and unhoused people, wildfire fighters and survivors, migrant farm workers and people 45 years and older with pre-existing conditions, among others.

On the website you’ll find a complete list of eligible groupsand what constitutes a pre-existing condition. You will be asked to attest that you are eligible. Second doses should also be scheduled on the website. Be certain to indicate on the page whether you are due for the prime or booster dose.

Officials say from now on, first and second doses will be administered at all Lane County mass vax clinics.
