After a long debate Monday night, the Springfield City Council appointed a new member to fill its vacant seat.
Jill Cuadros will serve as the representative for Ward 4 in central Springfield.
Cuadros works as the Director of Nutrition Services for Eugene School District 4J.
She’s expected to be sworn in next Monday — and will hit the ground running as the council prepares for its upcoming budget discussions.
