Nate Guadagni has been teaching yoga, qigong and meditation full time for almost 20 years. He was nominated as an Inspiring Mind by his student Teresa Mueller. Teresa said his teaching, especially geared towards older or recuperating people in need of fine-tuning of their balance or bone strength, allows students to feel humanity and the "enormous, mysterious potential of qigong."
In 2018, Nate's Grandma had a fall, broke her hip, and passed away soon after. Shocked by this sudden event, he applied his skills in mind-body wellness to balance and fall prevention for seniors developing Balance for Life, a holistic approach to longevity and quality of life.
He developed the Balance Bar: a flexible padded staff to help seniors stretch and exercise safely. He currently teaches online classes and weekly in-person classes at the Eugene Garden Club.
