On this special Veterans Day edition, we talk to two vets who work hard to help their colleagues transition to civilian life. First we talk with Al Ezelle, Coordinator at the
Maxwell Student Veteran Center on the campus of Lane Community College who helps veterans with educational opportunities. Then we talk with Dustin Paul of North Umpqua Outfitters who takes veterans on the river to find both thrills and peace.

Michael Dunne is the host and producer for KLCC’s public affairs show, Oregon On The Record. In this role, Michael interviews experts from around Western and Central Oregon to dive deep into the issues that matter most to the station’s audience. Michael also hosts and produces KLCC’s leadership podcast – Oregon Rainmakers, and writes a business column for The Chronicle which serves Springfield and South Lane County.
