The Broadway location of Cafe Yumm! in Eugene will be closing its doors for the final time on Friday, September 25.
It’s been over a year and a half since Beau Delicious! International learned their lease for the Broadway location would not be renewed.
According to Director of Marketing and Communications Marne Dunder, the Broadway restaurant served both the campus and downtown areas so two locations will open in its place.
“Now, we’re at a happy place with it, but if you had asked me a year ago, the news was disappointing,” said Dunder. “Because we had loved being at Broadway for thirteen years.”
The 13th street location will open in early October followed by a location at 5th Street Public Market.
Employees from the Broadway restaurant will be relocated within the company. Dunder said it’s a huge benefit to be opening a new restaurant with experienced staff.
The Broadway location will stop serving at 9 pm Friday.
