Echo Mountain Complex 25% Contained

The Echo Mountain Complex of fires near Lincoln City is at 25% containment and remains at 2,435 acres in size. 

Firefighters have been battling difficult terrain and dense fuels. They’ve completed a line around the fire and are working to secure that line. There is rain in the forecast which will be helpful to fire crews. Access to the fire area is limited to fire personnel and support crews. There is still danger from rolling trees and debris. Some evacuation levels have been reduced on the Echo Mountain fire.
