Lane County Public Health officials urge unvaccinated residents to sign up or walk up for available doses at vax clinics large and small.

On a new dashboard, residents can see by zip code-- the number of people who still need to receive a vaccine in order to reach 65% vaccination rate.

Washington, Benton, Deschutes, Hood River and Lincoln counties have all reached the goal as of Monday.

Public Health officials report Lane County needs to administer nearly 12,000 more prime doses to reach the goal. Spokesperson Jason Davis said that can happen quicker if residents take advantage of vax clinicswhile they are still operating.

"This weekend is the last weekend for the Lane Events Center drive-through clinics. The last day will be May 22," he said. "So, if that is convenient for you- close by to your home- we have around a thousand doses of Moderna to administer on the 22nd.”

Davis said 2,000 vaccine doses will be available this Saturday and Sunday at Autzen Stadium. Walk ups are welcome. He added there will be small clinicsat schools and workplaces to help reach the 65% vaccinated goal for the county.
