The Oregon Ducks beat the Michigan State Spartans 7 to 6 Monday in the Redbox Bowl at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
After a scoreless first half, Ducks Quarterback Justin Herbert threw a touchdown pass to Dylan Mitchell in the 3rd quarter. The Oregon defense held Michigan State to just two field goals. It was Oregon’s first bowl victory since beating Florida State in the 2015 Rose Bowl.
Oregon finished this season with a 9 and 4 record. Duck fans are hopeful about next season because Justin Herbert recently announced he’ll forego the NFL draft and return for his senior year. The Ducks open next season at Auburn on August 31st.
