Cooler temperatures and rain have slowed down wildfires threatening 6,000 structures in Central Oregon Wednesday.

Much of the central Oregon resort community was placed under a Level 2 — BE SET — evacuation notice Tuesday evening.

The Deschutes County Sheriff's office issued expanded evacuations Monday evening, which include portions of the Sunriver area.
