Bird Alliance of Oregon

Northern spotted owls have been on the endangered list since the 1990s. Researchers say that’s due to habitat loss from logging and invasive Barred owls out-competing them for prey and space.

The Bird Alliance of Oregon estimates that 4.4 million birds will be migrating across the state Saturday night.
