The coronavirus pandemic has set aside many of the usual Memorial Day events this year. The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs took its observations online this morning (Monday), in what it calls its first-ever virtual Memorial Day Ceremony.

The presentation was carried on the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs Facebook page. It's archived there now. The 23-minute program includes remarks from Oregon’s governor and several members of the state Congressional delegation, among others.
