Native American storyteller Thomas Doty presents Doty and Coyote: Stories from the Native West at the UO Baker Center on Friday, October 28th.
He'll merge traditional and original native stories from his Shasta and Takelma heritage, in a free appearance sponsored by the Lane County Historical Society and the Osher Lifelong Learning Insitute. He speaks with Eric Alan about merging traditional Shasta and Takelma stories with his own, and the power of revealing truth and wisdom through myth.
