Eugene, Buena Vista Spanish Immersion Elementary's Parent Organization invites you to an evening that celebrates the power of language, culture, and community. On May 9th, Subasta 2026 returns to the Graduate Hotel—a vibrant gala supporting bilingual education and the students who benefit from it every day.
Buena Vista’s dual‑language immersion program has been a cornerstone of Eugene’s educational landscape for decades, helping students grow as confident bilingual speakers and culturally aware community members. Subasta is our largest community fundraiser, and this year we’re inviting the entire city to join us in strengthening this work.
Subasta 2026 will feature a live performance by Buena Vista’s Ballet Folklórico dancers, showcasing the cultural traditions embraced within the school’s bilingual community, along with a lively silent and live auction, a community raffle, and an evening program that includes dinner, drinks, and festive celebration.
Why your presence matters? Everything we fund — artist residencies, cultural classroom experiences, field trips, music and PE, classroom grants, community events, playground improvements, and support for families in need — depends on the success of this event. Your ticket is your contribution, and your presence truly matters.
These opportunities help ensure that bilingual education in Eugene remains strong, equitable, and accessible—benefiting not only Buena Vista students but the cultural vitality of our whole city.
Join us! Tickets are available now, with a discount for full‑table reservations. Bring friends, colleagues, neighbors—anyone who believes in the value of multilingual, multicultural education.
Let’s come together to celebrate bilingualism, support our students, and help our community bloom.
