Eugene's Table Aims To Solidify The City As A Hub For Food And Beverage Manufactoring

Micah Elconin

A program in Eugene is hoping to solidify the city as a hub for food and beverage manufacturing.

Eugene’s Table is a third party organization that helps these companies with marketing, knowledge sharing, and connecting industry players with each other. The program is membership supported and includes brands such as Yogi Tea, So Delicious Dairy Free, and Ninkasi Brewing.

Micah Elconin, is director for Eugene’s Table. He says it’s unique for focusing on food and beverage manufacturing, but similar development projects are nothing new to the area.

“Activity related to this has been going on for a couple of years,” says Elconin. “So really Eugene’s Table is kind of a rebranding and further expansion of what was originally called Lane Food and Beverage Sector Strategies, which was just a publically funded project.”

In September, Eugene’s Table will partner with restaurant, Party Downtown, to celebrate Organically Grown in Oregon Week.
