A new online tool helps Oregonians find the nearest COVID-19 testing site, if they suspect they may be infected.

The interactive map just needs a web browser, and provides information in English and Spanish.  The test site locator was developed with information from hundreds of health vendors and resources from across the state.

Melissa Sutton is a Senior Health Advisor with the Oregon Health Authority. She said many people may lack primary care providers, or regular doctors that they see, so this tool can direct them where to go.

“If you’re sick, it’s important to know if it is COVID-19 because that allows us to identify people you might have come into contact with, who we can then notify and let them know to take certain precautions.  That’s how we help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.”

Oregonians can find nearby COVID-19 testing sites by entering their address, or choosing a state, county, and zip code. People are advised to call such sites ahead of time for hours and testing criteria.

OHA said they cannot guarantee testing at listed sites, adding it’s always best to contact a health care provider about getting a COVID-19 test.

The sites are:

and healthoregon.org/pruebasdecovid19 (Spanish)
