On this week's show, we learn about a federally grant funded project called RADx UP [Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics for Underrepresented People}. It's a collaboration between researchers at the University of Oregon and other agencies. They're offering free COVID-19 testing in communities that otherwise might not have access to testing.
Our guests are Dr. Leslie Leve, the Alumni Faculty Professor in the College of Education and Associate Director of Prevention Science Institute” at the University of Oregon, Dr Jorge Ramirez Garcia, Research Scientist with Oregon Research Institute & with Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, and member of the Health Equity Committee of the Oregon Health Authority. Also, Dr. Patrick Luedtke, Lane County's Senior Public Health Officer.
